Thomas Walker Thomas Walker is an attorney and respected member of the District 2 region in the new city of Tucker. Save Tucker! founding members Cheryl and Paul Miller had an opportunity to speak with Mr. Walker while he was out campaigning door to door in the Brockett community. When he barely missed being in the runoff himself, he could have easily felt bitter about the situation, like so many others have done in other elections, and demanded a recount or alleged some kind of misconduct against the elections volunteers and staff. Instead, he continued to attend meetings, speak on issues and lend his support to the remaining candidates. He kept everyone informed about the new attorney hired by city of Tucker and will continue to be an active volunteer and friend to everyone who lives here. This is a blog about the small town of Tucker, Georgia, which is located just outside the major metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia. On March 13, 2013, the residents of Tucker learned that a small group of politically motivated individuals who lived nearby wanted to incorporate using Tucker's commercial areas and leaving many of the long-time residents on the outskirts of the new city. This is the story of how the residents have fought back to preserve history and their own community.
